During the season of Advent the Church invites us to enter into a special time of waiting and expectation.   Embracing Advent means embracing Hope.  It is that hope which sustains us and protects us from falling into despair.  The Hope of Advent is the light which dispels the darkness of fear and anxiety. The Hope of Advent is a person and His name is Jesus.
